Implementation of the project "Attracting investment with high job creation potential"

UAB Optonas is implementing the project "Attracting investment with high job creation potential", which will result in the purchase of new equipment and the training of company employees. The project addresses the problem of how to contribute to the growth and development of the Jonava District Municipality by attracting climate-friendly investments and creating additional jobs.

In order to move towards a climate-neutral economy, the training of employees is foreseen, which is necessary both for the planned introduction of innovative technologies and equipment and for the creation of sustainable jobs.

The project aims to install new equipment and expand production by creating additional jobs and training workers.

Implementation of the project "Development of innovative products at JSC „OPTONAS"

UAB Optonas in cooperation with UAB Nanoversa is implementing the project "Development of innovative products in UAB Optonas", which plans to develop metasurfaces with unique technical parameters. The successful implementation of the project will lead to the creation of a nano-microstructure (metasurface) which will be formed on the surface of the material.

The aim of the project is to develop metasurfaces with unique technical parameters.

Total value of the project is EUR 1.920.215,38, of which EUR 1.152.129,23 is from the European Regional Development Fund.

Promoting Exports Through Participation in Exhibitions

The goal of the project is to participate in specialized international exhibitions to present advanced, world-class optical components and thin-film coating services, establish connections with potential partners/clients, and promote the company's name. It is expected that participation in these exhibitions will significantly increase export revenues and enhance the popularity of the products/services.

Creating New Products in JSC “OPTONAS”

JSC “OPTONAS” has successfully completed the project “Creating New Products in JSC “OPTONAS”. The project has resulted in new innovative products: optic elements with a significant injury threshold. After the successful implementation of the project new products will be commercialized and the benefits obtained selling them will make a significant impact on JSC’s profits and increase the competitiveness of the brand in the global market.

The project was funded by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Union’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic with 900 000 EUR.

Development of new products

JSC “OPTONAS” has successfully completed a research and experimental development project. The project resulted in the development of new lasers with improved properties and parameters - sub-nanosecond lasers with small dimensions (914nm; 457nm; 305nm), as well as unique optical dividers for lasers and optical elements for ultraviolet lasers (a non-polarizing optical divider with a high damage threshold).
